Back in January, I traveled to Austin, Texas, to talk about my film Crossing Lines: An American Ride. While there, I made a stop at the Comedy Mothership, a business founded by podcaster and icon Joe Rogan. On a whim—fueled by a child-like innocence and a flash of inspiration—I decided to leave him a copy of my book. I knew the odds were slim he’d ever see it, but it felt like the first intentional step toward a bigger goal: getting on his podcast.

After that trip, I made a commitment: I was going to build a groundswell of momentum through podcasts. One per week. Big or small, it didn’t matter. I just had to keep showing up. Podcasts. Podcasts. Podcasts.The goal? To amplify awareness of my book, my story, and—ultimately—my brand. What brand? Endless Media? Yes, but more importantly, I’m building the brand of INSPIRATION—as a speaker, motivator, and someone helping others overcome fear and failure to pursue their Unknown based on my experience, lessons, and failures.

There’s a saying: motion brings clarity. And it's true. I didn’t know exactly where this journey will take me, but I’m beginning to see the shape of something meaningful. I’ve discovered a deeper passion: helping people who’ve struggled with failure or felt overwhelmed by fear take their first steps forward. Steps that begin to rewrite their personal narrative—not from a place of defeat, but from the strength they've gained by simply surviving it.

A key to remember, we are not defined by our past—we are shaped by it.

Today, I’m one step closer to sitting across from Joe Rogan. One step closer to fulfilling a dream.
