MERRY CRĪSTESMÆSSE AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL
This year I had the chance to work with the owner of Eau Gallie ACE Hardware, George Alexander, and his friend David Wickham to capture one of the more personally satisfying videos I have made in a
while, the Christmas Tree Lighting in EGAD, the Eau Gallie Art District in Florida.
What often goes overlooked in life are the people who hold communities together and the little things they do to make those communities special. These two individuals represent the very best of that. Taking time out of their day to day lives and spending money out of their own pockets, they worked with the local city to organize a special night for boys, girls, and families alike. Special thanks go to EGAD for commissioning this piece, which is part of a larger project scheduled for release in 2026.
Fun Fact: if you are local to Brevard County, you know the name Wickham is associated with Wickham Road. David Wickham in the video is the son of Commissioner Wickham and is, in fact, one of the descendants of the family for whom the road was named.

Did you know that the word "Christmas" stands for "Christ's Mass”. It originates from Old English Cristes mæsse (first recorded around 1038 as Crīstesmæsse and in 1131 as Cristes-messe), meaning the "Mass of Christ" celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ.
Did you also know that the birth of Christ is estimated to have been prophesied more than 300 times? One of the most commonly referenced prophecies is Isaiah 7:14, which was written approximately 730 years before the birth of Christ. It reads, “Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel (meaning, I am with you).”
Enjoy the holidays and honor the meaning!
